We are delighted to announce the programme for the Annual BAPEN meeting Paediatric Intestinal Failure Network Day Monday 9th November, Bournemouth International Centre.

This event is designed to improve knowledge and skills in the management of complex nutrition and intestinal failure (IF) in children, targeting consultants, trainees, fellows and allied healthcare professionals. This will enhance collaboration with adult BAPEN partners, share experiences and management.
The programme features a blend of practical management strategies and showcases shared themes into adult and paediatric intestinal failure. This day will be accredited with 5 CPD points for all health professionals.
As well as state of the art talks there will be opportunity to present original abstracts in the areas of Parenteral Nutrition, Enteral Nutrition and Innovation. There will be a prize for the best Paediatric BAPEN abstract awarded on the day, we encourage trainees and AHPs to submit for presentation, via the dedicated submission portal. Closing date for Paediatric IF day abstracts is Monday 14th September.

Individuals who have an abstract accepted for poster submission in the BSPGHAN IF Network Day, will also be welcome to present this poster at the main BAPEN Conference if they are registered to attend.
BAPEN have generously supported this single day meeting which has allowed registration to be available to BSPGHAN members at the greatly reduced rates.

In addition, a limited amount of travel support grants of (up to £100 per applicant) are available for Trainees/AHPs. This will be open to all AHPs attending, however, priority may be given to those presenting abstracts.

Note:
- Travel Bursaries are only available to Trainee and AHP BSPGHAN members who register for the Paediatric Nutrition and Intestinal Failure Network Day on Monday 9th November and proof of registration will be required if the application is successful.
- Travel will be reimbursed after the event on completion of the Claims Form with appropriate receipts.
