The National Paediatric Translational Research Conference (NPTRC) 2026 will take place on 15-16 October 2026 at Sheffield City Hall, bringing together the paediatric research community to explore the latest advances in translational research for children and young people with rare and complex conditions.
Hosted by the NIHR Great Ormond Street Hospital Biomedical Research Centre (NIHR GOSH BRC) Paediatric Excellence Initiative (PEI) and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, the conference provides a unique opportunity to connect with researchers, clinicians, trainees, charities and industry partners from across the UK.

Early Career Researcher Programme | Thursday 15 October. A dedicated half-day programme designed and led by paediatric Early Career Researchers (ECRs), offering opportunities to:

Welcome Reception and Networking Dinner | Thursday Evening
Delegates are invited to attend a welcome drinks reception at the Sheffield Winter Garden, followed by a networking dinner at the Millennium Gallery, providing opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the paediatric research landscape.
